It's All a Matter of Perspective

If you are coming from the perspective of a mouse, let's say, you are tiny, things are big. You have a fast metabolism and a short life. But wait! Those qualifiers are from a human perspective, not from the mouse's perspective. So if you are a human watching a mouse, the mouse seems small, fast, short-lived. And a human seems "normal" speed, "normal" life span, etc.

From our view, the dual reality view of the typical human, time exists. But we are asleep. From the view of an enlightened, "awake" person, that time spent as a human was a dream. And time as a concept is not real.

So it's always about your perspective. Good, bad, alive, dead, love, hate, alone, with people, small, large, past, future. Just your perspective. When asleep and dreaming, you believe you are awake. Then when you wake up, you say, "That was just a dream." When you really wake up, you will say, "That waking life was just a dream, too."
