Recommendations for Right Now ~ Challenging Times in the Human World

It's been a long time since I wrote a blog post, and I've been working on other things in life. I do make regular general updates to the website and have settled the YouTube channel a bit as well. But my project focus has shifted away from spiritual teaching through online content.

My other projects have taken me to exploring social media anew. I have not been much of a fan of social media, one of the reasons being that it changes so rapidly. But at this point, I am really looking at the different platforms through actual experimentation. They each have pros and cons and a kind of different feel so that different ones serve different kinds of people and businesses. That is a good thing, I think, and makes good sense.

Today for some reason, who knows how it all works really, I started up on something on the website here. And got into the Resources page. As I continued to follow the flow, I started to update that page. As this happened for a while and I went in and out of the human identity and a deeper truth while working on my computer, I added current social media accounts for each teacher I have listed. At first I did not include all of them because of some limited personal political concerns. But sure enough, that was eventually overridden by the obvious fact that everyone needs access to the teachings. And it simply is not in actual truth of being to exclude.

I also noticed that not one of the teachers on my list has an account on Bluesky, an alternative social media platform that is not particularly busy, but that I've been trying out for a while now. Who knows how much it may grow, but regardless, there are people there, and it definitely has a place on the internet. And when I realized there were none of the great spiritual teachers on the site, I put up an account for "inner peace and Self" right away. At least that can link to the resources available here.

What about the title of this post, recommendatations for right now? What are mine? Coming from my education and experience,which goes back over 20 years, and watching a very troubled world experience and having my own human story challenges to get through, right now I am sticking with the tried and true older and more experienced spiritual teachers for my own support and to recommend first to others. Who is out there adding to their information and places for everyone to get access to it? Who is teaching firmly and energetically but maintaining their calm purity as examples for us? Who is easy to understand and supporting individuals as well as mass audiences?

For example, I did not previously recommend Eckhart Tolle or Rupert Spira, two of the most well-known teachers. Not that I did not appreciate Eckhart Tolle very much, but I did not see a need to put him on the website resources list or feel that he was one of "my" favorites when it came to where to send others. And I was not very familiar with Rupert Spira's teachings until recently.

But the more we really get down to the wire on our own realization, expansion, and integration, the more there is a need for wide acceptance and sharing with the world along with fine tuned teachings that stick to the core principles while speaking to many people in the "out there".

I think the big teachers are big for a reason. And I think it is better to be able to take a few seconds to check in with an Instagram post or the beginning of a YouTube video every so often than to need to sit through a long interview or conversatin that may only contain a few minutes here and there of what you need to hear at that moment.

Right now it is Rupert for me most times. And a second is Francis Lucille. This is not to say that applies to everyone, not at all! If you are more heart-centered, someone else may be more helpful for you. It is always about what works and allowing the flow of incoming information to do its job.

I am so thankful for all the resources we have out there at the touch of a finger. And it is quite easy to integrate teachings into even the most typical busy and stressful life or day. Please try some of the great teachers and any teacher that you like. There truly are no limits.
